Unique vintage Mexican sterling silver cufflinks featuring detailed figural sombrero faces with twisted rope border accents. These mid-century novelty cufflinks have a wonderful Southwestern/Taxco aesthetic and retain their original aged patina. Both cufflinks display a worn Mexican eagle assay hallmark and tested positive for sterling silver (925). The toggle findings are marked “Alpaca,” likely indicating mixed-metal hardware or later replacement findings, which is not uncommon in vintage Mexican jewelry.
