The set features four octagonal mother-of-pearl faces with classic pie-wedge radiating nacre and silver-tone Art Deco bezels. The backs use the early detachable Snap Link mechanism, associated with period formal shirt studs and convertible cufflink systems. These were designed for tuxedo and formal dress wear, allowing studs or links to be secured through stiff-front shirts or cuffs. Beautiful aged condition with natural patina to the metal and strong iridescence in the mother of pearl.
