Wristwatch type vertical GPS holder for etrex10, 20, 30, 22x, 32x

This is an outdoor item belonging to my husband. He has several of the same kind and mentioned that he barely used this one.

Please note that this is designed for eTrex 10, 20, 30, 22x, and 32x, and is not compatible with older eTrex series.

This wristwatch-style holder allows you to view the GPS unit's screen vertically when worn on your wrist.

(1) Visibility
The plastic screen cover can accumulate snow, fog up due to temperature differences, or frost over, making the screen difficult to see. The plastic is also prone to cracking in low temperatures and can become cloudy from friction. Therefore, there is no plastic cover on the screen.
To prevent these issues, the screen area is left uncovered.
By cutting out the screen area, the fabric around the screen is designed to expand, preventing snow buildup and shadows on the screen. A resin plate is inserted between the outer and inner fabric on the screen-side panel to minimize deformation.

(2) Operability
The sides of the holder are designed with minimal panels to avoid interfering with button operation.
The cutout for the screen allows for operation of the joystick and various buttons, with specific cutouts tailored to each model.
The holder is thick due to the sandwiched resin plate. Please be aware that operation may be slightly difficult when wearing thick gloves.
*For ease of operation, the cutout for the screen is larger when the holder is attached to the GPS.

(3) GPS Fall Prevention
Measures are in place to prevent the GPS from falling.
The GPS unit and holder can be connected with a small side-release buckle.

(4) Attachment and Fit
The attachment uses a single 50mm wide elastic band for easy attachment, even when wearing gloves.
To prevent the plastic part (SQ) from shifting vertically due to the elastic band twisting during attachment, the SQ area is reinforced with nylon tape.
Additionally, non-slip material is sewn onto the elastic band at the bottom of the holder to provide some friction with the nylon material.
