Pottery Barn Vintage Mercury Glass Style Candleholder / Candle Holder Vintage style with silver mercury glass finish Antiqued bronze metal crown collar at top rim and banding at base For use use with pillar and jar candles Measures approximately 5 wide x 6.75 tall Made in India Candle shown in photos is NOT included CONDITION NOTES: Good preowned condition. The glass features an intentionally distressed silver finish that mimics authentic mercury glass and enhances the vintage aesthetic. Pale patches, semi-translucence, flaking, dark blemishes, scrapes, etc. are inherent to the silvering process and common in modern mercury glass production (see last 2 photos for examples). No cracks or chips noted in the glass. The metal banding at the rim and base features an antiqued bronze finish. Note that the crown collar, though securely attached to the glass, sits at a slight slant due to original manufacturing. Please review all photos.
