Atelier Schmid Clarinet Mouthpiece M6
125.39 $
Description
This is an Atelier Schmidt mouthpiece, model M6/403/2.
Although the opening is large, it is very easy to blow into and doesn't feel heavy. For me, a Vandoren V12, strength 3.5, felt about right.
The pitch is lower than a Vandoren B40, but I felt it had a stable pitch and was easy to harmonize with. I used it for about 4 months but am selling it as I'm switching to a different mouthpiece.
There are ligature marks, but the rails are undamaged, and I don't think the playing feel has deteriorated much. Perhaps due to the material, this brand's mouthpieces seem to last much longer compared to Vandoren.
Also, the sticker is slightly peeling off from the beginning. It will be shipped in its dedicated case.
Retail price: ¥33,000.
