Tadanobu Asano: In the Frame
13.20 $
Description
Tadanobu Asano, a leading Japanese actor and active musician in funk bands such as SODA!, has released the cassette tape Gaku no Naka de (Inside the Frame) from Fukuoka-based cassette label duenn label.
For this work, Asano used the legendary YAMAHA QY100, which he acquired at the age of 22 and has cherished for many years, along with the garage band iPhone app. He carefully selected 8 tracks from a large collection to complete this 90-minute work. The release unfolds Asano's unique, unclassifiable free-form world, which defies categorization as techno or experimental music.
Asano also designed the jacket himself. This work is a limited edition release of 250 copies.
