It is equipped with a triple sensor (direction, barometric pressure/altitude, temperature measurement) useful for outdoor activities and Tough Solar. Biomass materials are used for the main parts. The PRG-340B-3JF features a cross band with flame-retardant treatment, made from CASTLON®/Castron, a nylon material derived from 100% renewable organic resources. Castron is Nylon 11, made from castor beans, contributing to reduced environmental impact as a carbon-neutral material. Compared to conventional Nylon 6, it excels in strength, lightness, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, and flexibility at low temperatures. The PRG-340L-5JF features a calm coyote brown color scheme. Its classic look, with a synthetic leather band, matches not only outdoor scenes but also everyday wear. Additionally, the band has a flame-retardant treatment, making it suitable for scenes involving fire, such as cooking and campfires. This model balances practicality and design. Both models, like the base model PRG-340, feature a highly visible duplex LC display. The dual-layer display, which graphically displays direction on the upper LCD and shows time and measurement values largely on the lower LCD, improves visibility. The adoption of a thinner LCD achieves high functionality while keeping the thickness down.
