This is the second generation of Yamaha cleaning swabs, often called wakame (seaweed).
This item is from before the model change to the CLSOB3, which is now a bluish-purple color.

Made with newly developed microfiber fabric specifically for swabs. Achieves excellent water absorption and smooth passage through the instrument. For oboe. (15/250mm x 1000mm). For both upper and lower joints.

Swab Washing and Maintenance

If the swab becomes dirty, please wash it with detergent. The swab's effectiveness will not change even after repeated washing.


・Please be aware that if a large amount of detergent is used, the dye from the cloth may rarely bleed.
・If stored in direct contact with the instrument or case, color transfer may occur depending on the storage location, conditions, and temperature.
・Be careful, as hard debris or sand adhering to the swab or main body can cause scratches.
・Use an iron on a low setting.
・When washing, use lukewarm water or water at 40°C or below.
