【Factory Repaired】Yamaha Oboe YOB421

This is a YAMAHA Oboe, model YOB421!

A trial play video is available!

[Repairs Performed]
All pads, key corks, and joint corks replaced.
Polishing, oiling, cleaning, etc.

This is an overhauled item.

[Details on Tone and Playability]
It has a perfectly balanced resistance, neither too light nor too heavy.
It has minimal unevenness in tone and is very easy to play in tune.

While it omits some less frequently used keys compared to Yamaha's higher-end models,
it is equipped with convenient features for concert bands such as the left F key and the 3rd octave key.
The D key is covered, making fingering easier.
In fact, the absence of unnecessary keys makes it very easy to handle for beginners and students.

There are signs of plating peeling and lifting due to age,
so it is being sold at a special price. However, all consumable parts have been replaced, making it a great value.
(It has been polished to be less noticeable, but please check the photos carefully.)

[Included Accessories]
Case (some peeling on the corners)
Case cover
2 reeds (made to fit this instrument)
Thumb rest cushion

[Recommended for:]
Those who want to start playing the oboe.
For use in school clubs, orchestras, or as an instrument for such groups.
Those who want to play as a hobby.

[About Woodwind Instruments Currently Listed]
Repaired and adjusted by a former musical instrument store employee and current private workshop repairman.
The finish differs from instruments simply listed as maintained or operation confirmed.

Although the price is set slightly higher than the general market price for used instruments,
it is more cost-effective than purchasing a used instrument from a store and then having it repaired.

A flyer with our workshop's contact information will be included with your shipment.
We are committed to supporting you beyond the sale, offering post-purchase adjustment services and
a free comprehensive adjustment warranty within one year of purchase for your peace of mind.

If you would like to hear a trial play recording,
