Oboe Gebrüder Mönnig (Mönnig) Junk
299.00 $
Description
This is an oboe from the East German era by Gebrüder Mönnig. I recall that the list price was around 700,000 to 800,000 yen until around the 1980s.
I purchased it at auction as a junk item, but upon arrival, it was truly junk, with about one-third of the keys not functioning. I disassembled and cleaned it myself, and managed to get all the keys moving. However, when attempting to adjust it, there were a few areas beyond my amateur capabilities. Even if those could be fixed, a professional overhaul of the entire instrument is still necessary, so I've decided to sell it.
Everything shown in the photos is included. I have not played it myself to test the reeds, so their condition is unevaluable.
As a junk item, please understand that this is a no-claim, no-return, no-support sale.
