1930s Jeannette Jadeite Beehive Salt Shaker

This authentic, Depression-era Jadeite Beehive Salt Shaker was manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company. It features their iconic, heavily textured ribbed design and bold black SALT typography on the front. Because it was manufactured using genuine uranium dioxide as a colorant, this piece reacts intensely under an ultraviolet/UV blacklight, producing a vibrant, bright neon green glow that collectors absolutely love.  Excellent vintage condition with no major chips, cracks, or deep scratches in the glass. The black painted SALT lettering is crisp and well-preserved. The original aluminum lid screws on smoothly and shows minor, authentic age-related patina/weathering typical of genuine 90-year-old kitchenware.
