Vintage New York City Lamp Post Salt And Pepper Shakers Souvenir‎ Mid Century

Vintage novelty salt and pepper shaker set featuring New York City street lamp post designs, likely mid-century, circa 1950s–1960s. Each shaker is designed as a miniature lamp post with a silver-tone metal base and post, clear plastic lantern body, and a brass-tone removable outer frame. The lantern panels are hand-painted with pink floral designs, and each top panel is marked New York City.  The tops lift off for filling, and the clear ribbed finials act as the shaker dispensers. Original SALT and PEPPER metal signs are present and attached to each post.  Condition is vintage used. General surface wear, light scratches, and tarnish to metal parts consistent with age. The pink top panels show light fading and small speck marks. Hand-painted floral designs show minor brush inconsistencies typical of vintage souvenir pieces.
