Oboe, Semi-Automatic, Silver-Plated [Re-plated & Overhauled/Adjusted]

Semi-automatic oboe made of grenadilla wood from the former Dutch manufacturer, Harundo.

It has a silver-plated finish, and all keys have been re-plated. It has undergone a complete overhaul, including the replacement of all pads, and is adjusted.

This is a rare item, said to be one of only 2-3 in Japan. It was previously played by a professional who was a music university professor. I received it as a gift but have decided to sell it now.

The item comes with a hard case only.

[About the manufacturer Harundo]
According to research, the maker was someone who had trained at multiple oboe manufacturers, and the key design and system are a rare type, a mix of French and German styles. The wood is thick and has a substantial weight. The tone is a rich, German-style sound with abundant overtones, similar to later Springer instruments. Please note that this is not suitable for beginners.
