1984 Maryland 350th Anniversary Linen Towel

A great depiction of life and history in Maryland. Probably a Kay Dee design, this linen towel measures approx. 16 wide x 27 long and has a channel at the top to insert a dowel for hanging. It shows a picture of the seafood that the state is well-known for along with a picture of the original state house. There is a larger picture of the current state house, in Annapolis. A great picture of the U.S.S. Constellation is on the right. In the middle of the towel, is a large map of the state, showing location of major cities. along with the State Insignia and the orange and black Baltimore Oriole, the state bird, also Included is a picture of the Black Eyed Susan, the state flower and a skipjack picture, which is a boat used in oystering. The background has a beautiful blue nautical look with ocean, lighthouse and sky. A great addition to your state towel collection.
