Antique Round Bentwood Wooden Pantry Box 1898 Handwritten Inscription 10 Inch

Add a charming touch of primitive history to your home with this beautiful antique round bentwood pantry box. Dated via a lovely handwritten pencil inscription inside the lid from September 28, 1898, this piece brings authentic rustic character to any space. It features classic bentwood construction secured with metal tacks, making it a wonderful fit for a farmhouse, cabincore, or country kitchen aesthetic. Whether displayed on an open shelf, used for unique storage, or added to a collection of historic Americana, its warm wood grain and storied past make it a truly standout accent piece. Please note the condition details: there is a vintage paper sticker on the top lid that has been left intact to preserve the wood underneath, as well as some minor wood chipping along the bottom edge as expected for an authentic utilitarian piece of this age. Note: I was going to remove the paper but then thought best to let the new owner do that since I do not have any experience in cleaning sticker residue off of antique wood boxes.
