For confirmation

Even when I set the right floating lever in a good position, it falls forward and cannot be fixed when I touch the scale.
I thought the screw might be loose, so I tightened it, but no matter how many times I tried, it ended up in the state shown in Photo 1.

When I adjusted it with the left lever, the floating was insufficient, and when I checked, the spring was bent. Photos 2 and 3.

The floating condition is shown in Photo 4.

You mentioned that it can be used without any problems, but I believe that the inability to adjust it properly and the failure of the floating function, which is the core part of a parallel ruler, cannot be considered without any problems. ^^;
