Featuring a Mid-Century Modern Dorothy Thorpe Silver Band Creamer and Sugar Set. Designed during the 1950s to 1960s, these elegant glass pieces are highly recognizable by the thick sterling silver overlay band applied around their top rims. Dorothy C. Thorpe (unmarked, as her pieces originally carried paper labels rather than permanent glass stamps). Clear blown glass with a fired-on platinum/sterling silver rim. The left piece features a pour spout and handle (creamer), while the right piece handles open serving (sugar bowl or coordinating open sugar/toothpick holder). No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Glass bright & clear. Handle secure to creamer. Sugar and Creamer approximately 4” H and bottom/base 2” in diameter. Look at photos as they constitute the visual description.
