Description
Antique 12-Cup Cast Iron “Turk’s Head” Gem Pan / Fluted Muffin Tin, Circa 1900 Own a beautiful piece of early American kitchen history with this antique 12-cup “Turk’s Head” cast iron gem pan. Dating to around 1900, this substantial pan features deeply fluted molds inspired by traditional turban shapes, once used to bake decorative “gem” cakes, quick breads, and perfectly crisp cornbread long before modern bakeware existed. The sculptural design and honest, timeworn patina give this piece remarkable character. Subtle surface variations from decades of use highlight its authentic age and craftsmanship. Two integrated side handles with center hanging loops make it easy to display as striking wall décor when not in use. Ideal for collectors of vintage kitchenware, cast iron enthusiasts, or anyone looking to add rustic farmhouse charm and historic warmth to their kitchen. Dimensions: Width (handle to handle): approx. 13 in Depth: approx. 10 in Height: approx. 1.5 in Condition: Good antique condition. Unrestored with visible surface wear, light rust spotting, and rich coloration consistent with age and use. Solid casting with no cracks or repairs.
