Set of 4 Vintage CorningWare Colonial House 11” Browning Skillets W/ Pyrex Lids. Each In excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks, or notable damage. These specialized skillets were manufactured by Corning for Amana to be used with the early Radarange microwave ovens. Because early microwaves could not brown food, these dishes utilized a special base coating that absorbed microwave energy to heat up and sear food like a traditional pan. The Colonial House pattern became a beloved fixture in mid-century American kitchens.
