*The Rigotti No. 1a is a classic shaper that combines a focused tone with a rich sound.

- Material:
Neuranter, France (Material origin: France)
This material produces a slightly bright, flexible tone with good vibration.
The hardness selected and used is between 13-18 (medium-hard to medium-soft) as measured by the Reeds'n Stuff hardness gauge.

To minimize changes after finishing, the reed is aged for approximately 2 months from assembly to completion.
During the finishing process, the reed is shaped to ensure clear articulation at soft dynamics (p) and a balanced range from low to high notes, capable of playing from p to f.
The reed is finished to maintain a resonant tone even at forte (f), making it suitable for:
- Players who prefer a slightly more resistant reed
- Players with larger lung capacity
- Players who enjoy reeds with some resistance
It is primarily recommended for intermediate to advanced players.
