Bear repellent Kutsuwa Starline Security Buzzer Waterproof Blue ST109BL Bear Bell

Kutsuwa Anti-theft Waterproof Alarm Buzzer

This is a rare anti-theft buzzer with a waterproof function.
It can withstand rain and light submersion.

This is a discontinued product from the manufacturer, sold out on online shopping sites, and prices are soaring even for available stock.

I use it not as an anti-theft buzzer, but as a bear deterrent while fishing.

It is activated by a button, not by pulling, so there are no accidental activations when moving through dense brush.

This is a bear deterrent highly praised by Mr. Fukushi of d3customlures.
(Please refer to Mr. Fukushi's blog for details.)

This product meets JIS waterproof standard 7, which means it can be submerged in 1 meter of water for 30 minutes without water ingress.

It is constructed to withstand accidental submersion while fishing.

Firecrackers and bear bangers are only temporary deterrents, and bear bells only ring when you are actively moving, so they cannot continuously alert bears to your presence.

This alarm provides continuous deterrence against bears.

I fish in areas with a high population of brown bears, and fortunately, I have never encountered a bear while using this alarm.

The silicone packing makes it resistant to rain and impact, making it an ideal bear deterrent for outdoor activities.
