☆New☆ Bear Bell - Stainless Steel with Sponge Grip - For Hiking, Camping, and Mushroom Picking

This is a handmade bear deterrent.
The main body is made of stainless steel, and the grip is made of soft, easy-to-hold sponge material.

While I take care in making these, please understand that as this is a handmade item by an amateur, the cut edges of the sponge may be slightly uneven, and there might be a small amount of glue overflow. We ask for your understanding before purchasing.

A bear deterrent is a tool used to avoid encounters with bears by setting off firecrackers to make a loud noise and alert the bear to your presence. It is used during activities such as foraging for wild vegetables, hiking, stream fishing, and mushroom picking to prevent bear-related accidents.
This product is not intended to attack or repel bears, but solely for the purpose of alerting them to your presence.

[How to Use the Bear Deterrent]
- Prepare the firecracker: Insert the firecracker so that the fuse protrudes from the tip of the tube, and then light it. Use one firecracker at a time.

Because the bear deterrent has a tubular structure, the sound is amplified compared to using a firecracker alone, allowing the sound to be effectively projected around the user and in their direction of travel.
The purpose is not only to use it when entering the mountains but also to use it periodically as you proceed to alert bears and avoid unexpected encounters.
