Antique Limoges Platter 16" Coiffe Klingenberg Dwenger AKCD Floral Enamel France

A beautiful antique French Limoges porcelain serving platter featuring exquisite hand-painted floral decoration with raised enamel lily-of-the-valley blossoms and heavy hand-applied gilt trim.  This large platter displays exceptional craftsmanship with delicately shaded pink flowers, dimensional white enamel blossoms, rich green foliage, and an elegant molded scalloped border accented with bright gold. The raised enamel decoration gives the flowers remarkable depth and texture that is difficult to capture in photographs.  The reverse bears the red AK/CD Alfred Klingenberg & Charles Dwenger Limoges France mark along with a green Limoges decorators mark, dating the piece to the late 19th or early 20th century (approximately 18901915).
