The hand-painted red script on the bottom reads 錦光山 (Kinkōzan). The Kinkōzan workshop in Kyoto was one of the most famous and highly celebrated producers of Satsuma ware. Era: The specific stamp combination indicates the pieces were made during the Taishō to early Shōwa period, specifically between 1921 and the workshop's closure in 1927. The condition is very good considering the age. There is wear of the gold trim, mainly on the top rim of the cups but you can find signs of use throughout.
