Set of 8 Vintage 1960s MCM Waffle Coasters Yellow White Plastic Retro Bar Cart

These are super cool! 1960s MCM design. Set of 8 retro waffle-style plastic coasters in mod yellow and white, each with a raised waffle grid in the contrasting color (4 yellow with white grids, 4 white with yellow). Stack them and they read like a sculpture, spread them out and your bar cart or coffee table looks like a 1965 cocktail magazine. Mid-century plastic coasters had their moment from the late 1950s into the early 70s, when American plastics manufacturers made cheerful color-blocked sets for every suburban bar cart and rec-room coffee table. The waffle / raised-grid pattern is one of the most recognizable MCM coaster designs, pure 1960s entertaining culture.
