MCM “Atomic Age” Design Red Lucite and Chrome Tabletop Ice Bucket

This mid-century modern “Atomic Age” style design tabletop ice bucket, made of red lucite with chrome, measures 8 1/8 inches high to the top of the inserted tongs, 6 1/8 inches high to the top of the lid and measures 6 1/8 inches in diameter. The inside of the lucite base is 3 1/2 inches deep, and has small drainage holes at the bottom for the water to run into away from the ice. The outer chrome base can be taken apart so the water can be drained off and for the bucket to be cleaned. The tongs measure 4 1/8 inches long, and work the best on smaller ice cubes. There is no brand marking to help identify the company who made it. The ice bucket weighs 1 pound 8 ounces.; The ice bucket is in excellent condition
