Vintage Handmade Applique Quilt Block Girl Cat Window Scene 15” Ozark Calico

Absolutely charming vintage handmade appliqué quilt block featuring a sweet winter scene of a little girl and her beloved cat gazing out a snowy window. Made using vintage Ozark Calico by Fabri-Quilt fabrics, this piece showcases beautiful craftsmanship with dimensional quilting and raised appliqué details throughout. Unlike many flat quilt blocks, this piece has wonderful texture and depth. The girl, cat, trees, and landscape have a lightly padded, three-dimensional appearance that brings the entire scene to life. This unfinished quilt block appears to have been intended for a larger quilt, wall hanging, pillow front, or framed textile artwork. It is beautiful enough to display as-is and would make a wonderful addition to a quilting, folk art, or cottagecore collection.
