Exceptionally rare Polo Ralph Lauren men’s formal tuxedo pumps from the brand’s Benchmade English Footwear line. A true old-world evening shoe with a polished black leather upper, elegant low-cut pump silhouette and traditional grosgrain bow across the vamp.  The original Ralph Lauren booklet describes this Benchmade line as an extensive hand process using hand-dyed calfskin, calfskin lining, welted construction, double-leather soles and hand finishing. Ralph Lauren continues to describe its Northampton benchmade footwear tradition as a handcrafting process that can take up to three weeks.    A remarkably difficult Ralph Lauren model to find, especially as a complete set. Includes the original box, Ralph Lauren Footwear booklet and original cloth shoe wrap. Original box label identifies model MG5021, color Black Whillash, size 9 1/2 D, with an original retail price of $435.  Minor surface blemishing from wear is present. It is extremely subtle, cannot be seen when worn and is only noticeable under certain lighting or upon very close inspection. Please review photos.
