This bivy sack utilizes Outdoor Research's proprietary 3-layer AscentShell 3L material, which is lightweight, offers excellent interior space, and boasts superior breathability.
Its high breathability minimizes condensation even during the rainy season or winter, providing peace of mind even in prolonged bad weather.
The sizing is US standard. Even with a backpack, shoes, and cooking gear stored at your feet or head, there is ample space inside to sleep comfortably. It's also incredibly lightweight at just 528g.
Compared to other shelters, its excellent airtightness allows you to use a warmer sleeping bag than you might otherwise need, contributing to overall weight reduction.
The large opening from the head to the abdomen makes it easy to sit up or get in and out. You can cook, chat, or gaze at the stars while lying down, using it like a small personal shelter.
It features a semi-freestanding design with a wire frame at the head. The greatest appeal is the freedom to choose your campsite anywhere, regardless of surrounding trees. The large zipper allows for quick ventilation, minimizing condensation, which is another advantage of choosing this model.
