Description
This is a metal ligature with a beautiful appearance that fits soprano saxophone mouthpieces made of hard rubber. The band part that tightens the reed is made of stainless steel. The clip part, or perhaps the two stays, appear to be made of substantial brass. It features a large single screw for easy adjustment. The photo shows it attached to a Selmer rubber mouthpiece. Please note that the mouthpiece is not included with the product.
The reed can be attached in either forward or reverse orientation. The screw can also be reversed by removing and reinserting it.
It seems durable enough for long-term use. This is a no-brand product.
