Vintage Glenover by Henry Pollak 1940s Cloche & Bowler Combination Ladies Hat

The vintage Glenover by Henry Pollak Inc. indigo hat shown is an authentic piece of mid-20th-century American millinery, dating to the 1940s–1950s. Henry Pollak Inc. was a massive New York-based importer and manufacturer of high-quality hat bodies and braids. Active from approximately 1917 until 1990, the company provided blanks to elite designers like Halston and Adolfo. Glenover was one of Henry Pollak's high-end labels for durable, premium wool imports. This specific hat is crafted from 100% premium wool felt and features a decorative floral accent with tulle/birdcage netting.  *This listing does NOT include the original hat box, but will be shipped with care as to not damage the hat*  This is one of many hats that I will be listing from my late grandmother's estate. She was a military wife for over two decades from the 1940s to 1960s. She had a large collection of hats and gloves that she wore to military functions as an officer's wife.
