Mid-Century Maigon Daga Rustic Drip Glaze in Yellow & Brown Bud Pot
Maigon Daga
52.00 $
Description
Signed, drip glaze pottery, bud/weed pot by pottery artist Maigon Daga aka Maigonis Daga. Daga was creating pottery vases in Australia from 1954-1964. He worked on animals after that time in the USA. I'm guessing this piece was done during his time in Australia. I cannot be sure of the date. Very unique, rustic colors of yellow and brown. It reminds me of a celestial planet. 5.5 tall, belly is approximately 5 diam., top opening is 1.5 diam. Excellent condition.
