Vtg Italy Bitossi Aldo for Raymor Pottery Bowl w/Lid MCM Lava Glaze

Up for sale is a gorgeous, authentic Mid-Century Modern Italian art pottery lidded trinket box / covered bowl. This piece features a heavily textured, brutalist aesthetic with hand-incised geometric chevrons and triangles, characteristic of Aldo Londi's iconic designs for Bitossi. The glaze is a vibrant mix of turquoise blue, vivid green, and earthy gold/ochre tones.  The base features the incised ITALY mark alongside a hand-written style number standard for mid-century Italian exports.
