Michael Kifer? Studio Art Pottery Vase & Bowl Signed Abstract Modern Pair Folk

Description Beautiful matching pair of contemporary studio art pottery consisting of a faceted vase and matching bowl/cachepot. Both pieces feature a striking hand-applied red-to-yellow gradient glaze with expressive abstract brushwork and splatter decoration in turquoise, green, black, and purple. Each piece is hand-signed with a blue painted monogram on the base. After sharing these with a large studio pottery identification group, several experienced collectors suggested they may be the work of Michael Kifer based on the form, glaze, decoration, and signature. I have not independently authenticated the attribution, so they are being sold as possible Michael Kifer pieces. Please review the photos and make your own determination. These display beautifully together and make an eye-catching addition to any collection of modern or contemporary studio ceramics. ⸻ Condition Very good pre-owned condition. * No cracks, chips, or repairs found. * Glossy glaze with vibrant colors. * Light shelf wear on the unglazed foot rims from normal display. * Clean interiors. * Please review all photos as they are part of the description. ⸻ Measurements Vase * Height: Approximately 6 inches * Opening: Approximately 4 inches Bowl / Cachepot * Height: Approximately 4 inches * Opening: Approximately 4 inches ⸻ Item Includes * (1) Faceted vase * (1) Matching faceted bowl/cachepot Both signed on the base with the same blue artists monogram.
