Striking vintage Japanese lidded jar by Yamaji, featuring a deep cobalt blue glaze with hand-decorated pheasant and floral motifs accented in gold. This piece dates to the mid–late 20th century and showcases classic Japanese export artistry.  The jar measures approximately 8 inches tall including the lid. Marked Yamaji Japan on the base. Lid is original and fits well.  Condition: Very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear. No cracks or chips observed. Gold detailing remains vibrant. Minor surface marks consistent with age and display.
