The ears are a cream color with dark blue piping around the edge. The headband is light blue and white. The bow between the ears resembles a block of Swiss cheese.  Remy is depicted in shades of blue and purple. He's pictured on the right ear relaxing with his chef's hat next to him. Golden filigree is around the edge of the ear.  Emile, Remy's brother, is a round brown rat. He's on the left ear, covered in food crumbs. Light blue filigree is around this ear.  The bow is made of two layers of yellow pleather. The light top layer has holes so the darker lower layer shows through.  The backs of the ears and the outside of the headband feature a blue and white plaid pattern. In the squares of the plaid are fleurs-de-lys.
