American Brilliant Cut Crystal Vase Star Pinwheel Hobstar Waisted Form c.1900

American Brilliant Period cut crystal vase in the Star and Pinwheel pattern — a stunning example of the deeply hand-cut geometric designs that defined American glassmaking from the 1880s through the early 1900s. The waisted hourglass form features an allover pattern of hobstars, pinwheels, and fan cuts that catch and refract light brilliantly from every angle. The flared rim has a sawtooth edge and the base is deeply cut to match. Unmarked, consistent with many American Brilliant Period pieces. A beautiful display piece despite the minor rim chip noted below. CONDITION: Very good. Small chip on the rim edge (see photos). No cracks or repairs. Brilliant clarity throughout.
