al Saint Lambert Cobalt Blue Cut-to-Crystal Vase by Charles Graffart, the world re-nowned Val Saint Lambert artisian. This VERY heavy, hand cut lead crystal vase features a deep cobalt blue casing over a brilliant clear core. This pieces features the classic Pattern No. 28, characterized by a sophisticated strawberry diamond cross-hatched band around the center, flanked by deep vertical panels with elegant arched bases. The bottom is finished with a traditional hand cut starburst (rayed) base, designed to catch and refract light beautifully.  This piece is currently unsigned (typical for vintage VSL items which originally bore paper or foil labels), it is a documented Pattern No. 28 found in mid-century Val Saint Lambert catalogs. The quality of the casing, the precision of the hand-cutting and the weight of the lead crystal are all marks of VSL Craftsmanship. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
