The following is quoted from the official website:
[Tradition x Saxophone x Individuality] A ligature for saxophone using 100% handmade highest quality kumihimo (also usable for Bb clarinets). The natural sound unique to silk material and the supple hold created by the traditional kumihimo weaving method provide a sharp response like a Japanese sword. Stress-free, soft, and natural sound brings out the saxophone's inherent tone. From delicate control to dynamic resonance, you can freely control your unique sound. The quick response can be felt not only in the initial attack but also in the ease of legato. Each piece is carefully handmade and unique, and as you use it, it will become your own ligature, conforming to you over time. The vibrant color variations and decorations, passed down from ancient Japan, will surely shine beautifully on stage. What is Kumihimo? Warding off evil, connection, vows... Kumihimo, a traditional Japanese craft dating back to the Heian period, has been used for various tools since ancient times. The sentiments of people, imbued in the culture of tying, have been passed down continuously to the present day. The carefully woven 100% silk cord is strong yet elastic and remembers its shape.
