VTG Irish Chain Quilt Blue White Stars Soft Gauzy Cotton 1940s Cutter 70x75
Handmade

Description
Beautiful Irish Chain Quilt. Blue and White Star fabric with a solid White backing. Hand pieced and hand quilted. Wonderful thin, gauzy cotton feel. The texture, prints and condition lead me to believe this is a 1940s quilt, but please see all photos to make your own determination. Really beautiful! Rustic condition with several areas of tattering, exposed batting, small holes (along edges), small rips, yellowing and discoloration with some staining. I have not tried to launder this quilt, and I believe a gentle soak will take out a lot of the discoloration and yellowing. Stored long term and has a vintage smell. Beautiful piece for use as-is, or suitable as a cutter for other projects. Quilt measures approx 70” x 75” Other vintage quilts available separately. ✨5 Star Seller!✨ Ships quickly from a smoke-free home.
