☆A superb gimbal head that locks onto your subject!☆

The GIM-01 was developed with the primary goal of super-telephoto photography, enabling operations such as quick subject acquisition and fine adjustment within a narrow field of view with a single action. It features a complete gimbal structure where each rotational axis (up/down, left/right, front/back) aligns with the center of gravity, so the center of gravity does not change when the equipment is moved. This allows for easy movement and locking of the optical axis to any desired position without the need for auxiliary actions like friction locking.

To achieve smooth operation and rotation without axis misalignment, it employs metal ball bearings, which are unique in the industry. We are confident in its ability to maintain initial performance for extended periods. Furthermore, a proprietary friction control function has been added to allow for adjustable friction resistance according to user preference. This enables comfortable shooting tailored to the skill level of users, from beginners to veterans.

Equipped with a clamp compatible with Velbon (and Arca-Swiss) style slide shoes. While the equipment drop prevention stopper is only compatible with Velbon slide shoes, the clamp's stroke is designed to be large, allowing for the attachment of Gitzo long plates as well.

The arm width and height are designed to provide sufficient elevation angle for bird photography with a digital SLR camera equipped with a super-telephoto lens. It is ideal for lenses in the class of 300mm F2.8. Of course, it can also be comfortably used for digiscoping.
