I tried playing a Legere reed after a long time and my first thought was, Huh? Was it this good before?!
I hadn't used them because I thought the sound was too hard, but when I tried them again, they were surprisingly close to cane reeds. Another unexpected discovery during my trial was that the current Legere reeds (size 3) felt more resistant than the older Legere reeds (size 3 1/4).

By the way, Legere reeds can be chosen from strengths in 1/4 increments, and if the size you purchased doesn't fit, you can exchange it once! That's reassuring.
Compared to regular reeds, you might notice a difference in tone and playing feel with synthetic reeds, but it might be reassuring to have one on hand for emergencies!

I bought these but the size didn't fit, so they've been sitting unused.
The sound is loud, full, and wonderful.

I've lost the original case, so I will ship them in a D'Addario case.
