Vtg US Navy Aviation Service Green Officer Uniform Set Korean War 36  Vintage U.S. Navy Aviation Service Green officer uniform set with matching jacket and trousers, privately tailored by Novakoff Bros. Uniforms of Boston. Named to P. F. Duffy.  This scarce ASG uniform is associated with Naval Aviation use and features the distinctive forest green wool elastique fabric, original oxidized Navy officer buttons with eagle/fouled anchor design, Lieutenant O-3 rank insignia, and line officer stars. Research points to an early Cold War / Korean War era production period, approximately 1949-1953, based on the ACWA union label, Talon zipper, construction details, and uniform styling.  Includes quality private-purchase officer tailoring details such as custom lining, underarm protectors, and period military construction.  Approx. measurements: Jacket pit to pit: 21-22” Jacket length: 30-31” Trousers waist: 36” / 18” laid flat Trousers inseam: 31” Leg opening: 8.5”  Good vintage pre-owned condition with expected age, service, and storage wear. Noted flaws include minor spotting, light discoloration to portions of the interior lining, and a small moth nip. Original insignia, buttons, labels, and tailoring details remain intact.
