Otagiri‎ Japan Fruit Basket Cookie Jar Ceramic Apple Grape Strawberry READ

Vintage pre-owned condition. The lid has a visible crack across the top fruit section and the lid handle/stem has been previously repaired and reattached. The repair appears secure. Light crazing and age-related wear are also present. Vintage Otagiri Japan ceramic cookie jar featuring a colorful fruit basket design with apples, grapes, lemons, strawberries, and leaves in high relief. The lid includes a fruit-stem style handle. Otagiri pieces were popular mid-to-late 20th century imports known for detailed ceramic kitchen décor. Despite the repair and lid crack, the jar still displays nicely and works well as a decorative piece for a vintage or farmhouse-style kitchen. Marked Otagiri Japan on the underside.
