★Content★
This crime action film stars Alain Delon and Richard Crenna as gangsters operating in Paris and the detective pursuing them. Catherine Deneuve co-stars as the gangster's mistress.

While it was Melville's second biggest hit in France after Le Samouraï, Melville passed away from a heart attack at the age of 55 less than a year after its release in France, on August 2, 1973. This was his 13th and final feature film as director.

The original title, Un flic, is slang for cop. In the film, Simon and his crew calculate that they have 20 minutes to pull off the Lisbon Express heist, and this scene is edited to be exactly 20 minutes long in the movie.

This is the first Blu-ray release (for Jean-Pierre Melville's 100th birthday) and includes the Japanese dubbed audio from the Wednesday Movie Theater broadcast (Nippon TV / April 16, 1975).
