Hand-finished!!
This is an accurate replica of the original Meyer Bros. New York, loved by many great alto saxophonists such as Cannonball Adderley and Phil Woods. In collaboration with one of America's leading mouthpiece craftsmen, we have recreated this rare and popular mouthpiece down to the finest detail.
Comparing the New Yorker with the current Meyer Anniversary model, we found the New Yorker's brilliance, color, and response to be outstanding compared to the Babbitt. It's far superior.
As lifelong professionals who share a passion for tone and performance, we have combined decades of experience and knowledge to develop a high-quality yet affordable Meyer Bros. replica for today's alto saxophonists.
From our extensive mouthpiece collection, we have meticulously cloned the finest mouthpiece, carefully selected as The One used by legendary studio musician Dominic Fera. The Meyer, which we all agreed upon, delivers the fattest sound, quick articulation, uniform tone, and stable intonation.
We are proud to deliver a model that faithfully reproduces this rare mouthpiece and meets the highest standards in every detail. We use state-of-the-art CAD technology and the highest quality Formula German Rod Rubber. All mouthpieces are meticulously hand-finished and, above all, individually tested and approved by Bob and Joel.
