Vintage Hand Painted Japanese Eggshell Porcelain Tea Cup and Saucer Set of 2

Vintage Japanese eggshell porcelain tea set features two cups and two saucers, each meticulously hand-painted with a traditional landscape scene. The artwork depicts figures in a boat on a serene lake, surrounded by thatched-roof cottages, cherry blossoms, and distant mountains. Accented with a deep cobalt blue scalloped rim and delicate gold gilt scrollwork, these pieces showcase the fine craftsmanship of mid-century Japanese ceramics. The translucent porcelain is exceptionally thin, characteristic of high-quality eggshell ware. Each piece is marked on the bottom with a Torii gate symbol and Hand Painted Made in Japan.
