Description
Set of 4 vintage dinner plates by Franciscan China in the elegant rare Birchbark pattern. Manufactured for a brief period in the early 1950s by Gladding McBean & Co in California, USA. Sleek solid grey coupe shape finished with a delicate gleaming platinum rim. These elegant plates are perfect for replacing missing pieces in a existing collection or starting a stunning retro tablescape. Plates are in great vintage condition, showing excellent overall care. The platinum trim displays a a gentle wear aging that adds a touch of authentic vintage character and a soft patina to the pieces. Please note that 2 of the plates are marked with 'Birchbark' on the reverse, the other two have only Franciscan China stamping, however they are all from the exact same authentic pattern, shape, and production line.
