Glows deep red under light/UV — a signature trait of true black amethyst glass and highly sought after by collectors. This gorgeous black amethyst glass bowl is hand-painted with vivid floral designs in white, blue, yellow, and lavender, encircling the entire top edge. Featuring a deep, rich amethyst hue that glows red under light, this bowl is likely made by LE Smith in the 1950s. It has a starburst base and smooth curved form.
