Dr. Louis moves to the countryside with his family. Behind their new home lies a mysterious animal burial ground, the Pet Sematary.
One day, when his pet cat is involved in an accident, he buries it deep in the woods beyond the cemetery. However, the next day, the cat reappears, having become ferociously transformed. That place was a secret forest passed down through generations by the indigenous people. Then, on his daughter Ellie's birthday, she is killed in a traffic accident... What action will Louis take?
